Hi friends, I’m Candace! I was born in Monterey CA, grew up in Ventura and now reside in Ojai, CA! I have a Bachelors degree in Art from California State University Channel Islands and have 5+ years of professional photography experience.

I’ve been grateful enough to live on the California coast my entire life and find new inspiration in my beautiful surroundings everyday. My daily surroundings are what inspired me to begin photography as an art form. I began capturing this dreamy life of mine through camera lens, creating landscape and artistic compositions.

Capturing these moments, while still remaining present in life, can be a challenge with our digital devices today, which lead me to the road of film photography. With film, I’m able to capture these picture perfect moments in a single click, put the camera down and not view or question the shot I took, it until the camera lab develops and scans it. Once received, you are able to now enjoy this moment for a lifetime, in its truest form with zero edits.

I now share this passion of capturing the beautiful in-the-moments of living on the coast, with you. Using these breathtaking California surroundings, including the beaches, cities and hillsides as a backdrop for photoshoots. Where nature is our canvas, you as the subjects are the paint and I am the artist- we create timeless, natural and organic photos that last a lifetime.
